Expresso Brasil hosted Midnite's imposing reggae at Johnny B. Good's 22nd anniversary party!
September 12 was marked by Johnny B. Good's 22nd birthday and the great return to Midnite's drizzle city, a Ilhas Virgens band considered one of the main root scenarios. The Expresso Brasil, already in the first attraction, mobilized the crowd regueira clearly willing to have a night of auditory "punishment" in a FEELING OTIM (of course!), referring to the sound imponence of authentic reggae, represented with much competence also by the band Monte Zion and Leões de Israel. Even with the spotlight facing the main attraction, the band Monte Zion gave a beautiful business card, showing all the quality of its work to almost 10,000 people. Following, the most performing band on the national scene, Leões de Israel. They started a semi-acoustic show with world successes such as Gregory Isaacs medley with songs such as "Soon Forward" and "Cool Down the Pace". Soon after, the show started for real with guitars, drums, bass, etc, and hits one by one in the mouth of the crowd.

MIDNITE: PUBLIC IN TRANSE

But what really didn't come out of the crowd's mouth was that Midnite was close to starting, and anxiety was detected both in the "people" and in several artists from the scene who came to honor. Lei Di Dai, Jimmy Luv, Junior Black Style, Douglas Earl, Solano Jacob, Aline Duran, Mr. Kuki, Giraffha 17, the Tux and Zambol djs, anyway, nobody wanted to stay out. When Midnite finally took the stage at 3:30 in the morning, the uproar was general, but the agitation soon gave way to static faces, as if they had been hypnotized by all that surrounding sound, a "mantra". The band walked in the harmonic line of the songs, some elongated in up to 10 minutes, leaving the audience even more inserted in the show. "Rasta Man Still Stand" and "Proceed" were two of them. "Kaaba Stone" and "Listen" came in the sequence further peppering the groove that had taken the Expresso Brasil. Vaughn Benjamin, vocal, wearing a jacket with the design of Haile Selassie's face, was the leader of "collective hypnosis", and at all times contrasted his profile with the unmistakable charisma of his brother, Ron Benjamin, who, in addition to the bass, has already taken over the keyboards of Midnite (season of Abijah on guitar) and even drums in the 1st show of Dezarie in Brazil.
Another highlight of the show was "Jubilees of Zion" and "Meditation", with a strong public receptivity. Now good news for the São Paulo rebars. For those who could not attend this presentation of Midnite, a second chance. Day 28/09, farewell from the band of Brazil, there will be an extra tour show on Hole Club, that is, it is not necessary to say that anyone who does not run will stay out. Jimmy Luv, Alexandre Cruz and Ms. Ivy together with QG Imperial close tonight's unmissable attractions.
