Reggae 4 Life: International Summer Festival in Balneário Camboriú! Check the lineup!

An event in search of peace and bringing people together through music. “Reggae 4 Life - Festival Internacional de Verão” takes place in the most popular destination for Brazilian, Argentine, Uruguayan and Chilean tourists... the south of Brasil. This mix of cultures goes against the general concept of Reggae 4 Life Festival. During the next Thursdays, Espaço Deck Lounge will be the stage for a great celebration of national and international reggae music. The artistic program will feature several national artists, including classic Brazilian reggae names such as Ras Bernardo (Rio de Janeiro), Produto Nacional (Porto Alegre-RS) and also emerging artists and artists from the new Brazilian reggae scene, such as: A Tropa (Pindamonhangaba-SP), QG Imperial (São Paulo-SP), Ukiemana (Serra da Mantiqueira-MG), DaMata (São Paulo-SP) and Lei Di Dai (São Paulo-SP). From other countries, important artists in world reggae: Mad Professor (Londres-UK) and Macka B (Londres-Uk), living legends of reggae/DUB. In union between countries that speak the same language and recognition of good music, straight from Lisboa, Freddy Locks comes to Balneário Camboriu with their songs that conquered Portugal, Espanha and other countries in Europe. In addition to “Reggae 4 Life Festival 2009 ” in Balneário Camboriú, another new reggae meeting will take place on the coast of Santa Catarina, specifically in Imbituba in Praia do Rosa, 80 km south of Florianópolis. Imbituba beach is known internationally for its good waves and for the annual holding of one of the WCT - Campeonato Mundial de Surf stages. Some of the artists present at Reggae 4 Life Festival 2009 will also be part of the event program at Imbituba.

PRAIAS

 Praia Central: Bordered by Avenida Atlântida, almost 7 km long, it is the most urbanized beach in Balneario Camboriú. Ilha das Cabras: 600 meters from Praia Central, to get there you can opt for schooner trips. Praia de Laranjeiras: A bay with calm waters, 6 km from the center, 750 meters long. Access can be done via BR 101, following the access line to the Beaches or via Barra Sul, via the aerial cable cars. Praia dos Amores: The sea is rough and suitable for surfing, and the beach still preserves native characteristics. It is on the border of the municipalities of Balneario Camboriú and Itajaí. Praia de Taquarinhas: 8 km from the center of Balneario Camboriú, it is a beach with clear, crystal clear, but choppy waters. Access via the Beaches access line, after Laranjeiras. Praia de Taquaras: For those looking for peace and tranquility. It is 1150 meters long and is 8.5 km away from the center of Balneario Camboriú Praia do Canto: Located in the northern corner of Balneario Camboriú, from the corner you can admire the central beach in its entirety. Praia do Estaleirinho: Crystal clear waters, coarse sand, with an urbanized center with inns and restaurants. Praia do Estaleiro: 11 km from the center of Balneário Camboriú, with rugged characteristics and suitable for casting fishing. Access to Praia do Estaleirinho and Praia do Estaleiro is via the Beach Access Line, after Praia do Pinho from Balneário Camboriú. Praia do Pinho: Known internationally, it is the first official naturism beach in the country, a practice guided by a strict code of behavior. Pinho beach is 9 km from the center of Balneário Camboriú, surrounded by cliffs.
