Ziggy Marley in comics: Reggae star becomes Ganja-protecting hero in a comic book!

Image Comics announced the launch of a comic written by musician Ziggy Marley. The title of the work could not be more appropriate: "Marijuanaman" (Marijuana Man). Marijuanaman tells the story of an alien superhero who comes to Earth to protect marijuana plantations, which are essential for the survival of his species. Ziggy Marley created the story alongside comic book writers Joe Casey and Jim Mahfood. "I've been reading comic books since I was a kid. I'm very excited to be part of Image Comics," said the musician to the Digital Spy website. Marijuanaman hits stores on April 20, 2011.
