The rocksteady group "The Tennors", author of several rhythm hits, has just reunited again after 35 years apart.
George Murphy, the founder of the group rejoined Ronnie Davis (also a member of The Itals), inviting a new member, Henry "Sadiki" Buckley Jr. to continue the work that includes a new album to be recorded and a tour in Estados Unidos and Europa.
The trio "The Tennors" achieved great success in Jamaica, more precisely in 1967, with the song "Pressure and Slide", released on the "Downbeat" label of Coxsone Dodd, from Studio One.
Some of the greatest Rocksteady classics to date were produced by the group. Among them "Ride Yu Donkey", "Scrub Mi Khaki" and "Cleopatra". The last time the international media spoke about the group was in 2005 when the film "Broken Flowers" with Bill Murray and Sharon Stone featured one of their songs on the soundtrack.
