The surname is already well known to those who enjoy national reggae and follow the great artists who have left Bahia to conquer Brazil. Cassio Calmon is the nephew of Sine Calmon, and is forging his own path with identity and personality, now about to release his debut album. While the album is not yet out, Cassio has just released his first music video featuring Jaime Hinckson, Jamaican keyboardist who plays with various artists, including Daniel Bambaata Marley, Bob's grandson and Ziggy Marley's eldest son. The chosen track was "O Amor", a composition by Cassio that is already playing on Salvador radio stations. Cassio is backed by an excellent band, "Luzeiro", formed by great musicians of the new generation like himself.
