EXÉRCITO DELIRANTE! Planta & Raiz prepares to release the new album!

The eleventh album from Planta & Raiz is on the way. With nearly 20 years of career and captivating hits such as "Com Certeza", "Aquele Lugar", "De Cara pro Mundo" and "Gueto do Universo", the band describes the record as the result of maturity gained over all that time on the road.

This album is the synthesis of everything we have done until today. We chose this name (Exército Delirante) because it has a lot to do with Brazilian reality. It has to do with who we are, that faith of never losing belief in our dreams, of doing things with our own hands and winning every battle. It is a reggae album, original, 'brazilian style'. It is very well polished and produced by Daniel Ganjaman, a guy who by himself would already make any work special" — vocalist Zeider describes.

The album Exército Delirante counted on the help of hundreds of fans through the crowdfunding site Kickante, where a good amount was raised for the project's realization.

The launch show, scheduled for August, will be directed by Fernando Anitelli, famous for his project "O Teatro Mágico". Zeider does not hide his excitement:

I am very happy with the result of this production, of this work. I get a lot of adrenaline, because we live revolutionary music, music that will transform people's hearts. We want to do something good that can change a life. We are anxious for these results, because all of this has already had an effect within us" — he adds.

The graphic design of Exército Delirante once again features illustrator Rangel Melkunas — from the Surforeggae portal — who had already created the artwork for the last album "Segue em Frente", as well as other major projects such as "Changes" by the legendary Don Carlos, "O Jogo" by Cidade Verde Sounds and "VC & EU" by Filosofia Reggae.
