Major reggae artists worldwide pay tribute to the brilliant Bob Dylan! Learn more!

"Is it Rolling, Bob ?". That is the name of the album due out this summer on Sanctuary/RAS Records, recorded by some of the greatest names in Jamaican music of all time in tribute to the great Bob Dylan. The 16-song compilation features singers such as Beres Hammond, Gregory Isaacs, Michael Rose, Yellowman, Sizzla, Toots, Apple Gabriel, Don Carlos and Abijah, re-recording some of Bob Dylan's most acclaimed songs.
To complete the lineup, among the musicians invited for the tribute are none other than drummer Sly Dunbar, guitarist Earl "Chinna" Smith, the greatest saxophonist reggae has ever known, Dean Fraser, and the internationally renowned keyboardist Robbie Lyn. Production and recording of the album began in Kingston, Jamaica, at Gussie Clarke's Music Works Studio. Gary Himelfarb (Dr. Dread), the producer responsible for the project, sought to assemble a band worthy of Dylan's work and capable of reproducing the unique arrangements and sounds he created. Bob Dylan, born in 1941 as Robert Zimmermann, is recognized by sociologists and people connected to music as one of the artists who most influenced the 20th century.
