OH, GIRL! Victor Badaró, a rising name in Bahia's new reggae generation, releases a new video!

Blue sky, the sea, and an atmosphere of love and good vibes: that is what the first official music video by Bahia singer and guitarist Victor Badaró portrays. The chosen song is “Oh Girl”, released by the artist himself as a single in 2014, now receiving a new version in 2019. The video, like the music, uses a simple language and tells the story of a young couple enjoying happy moments on a romantic walk along the beach. The mood is one of pure and true love. Its strong points are the beautiful images captured by director and producer Fernando Britto and the performances by guest actors Milena Oliveira and Neilton Barreto. The new version of the song was produced in partnership by Victor Badaró himself and the music laboratory iKLab, with special participation by drummer Iuri Carvalho; mastering was handled by Estúdio Massa Sonora. Victor is originally from Salvador and began in music as a guitarist playing in local reggae bands such as Kayman and Semente da Paz, later accompanying international singers Andrew Tosh and Mitchell Brunnings in shows in Bahia. He began as a singer in 2011 and since then has released some singles and unofficial records. He was a finalist in two important festivals during this period: Fun Music Festival (SP) in 2015 with the song “Oh Girl”, and in 2017 at the Festival da Rádio Educadora da Bahia with the instrumental reggae Sete da Manhã.
